Psst! Want To Know What The World’s Most Successful Brands Have In Common?

Successful brands know that there’s more than one way to achieve the same result. It’s something that applies to most things in life, and in the context of this article; branding.
The thing about brand marketing is that some strategies take a long time to achieve results. And others could just end up becoming a nightmare!
One of the questions entrepreneurs often ask is what are the “secrets” to brand success? To do that, you would need to study the world’s leading and most successful brands to find the answers. Fortunately for you, I’ve already done the hard work, so you don’t have to!
Here are the things that today’s successful brands, regardless of industry, have in common:
Today’s top brands are consistent with their approach
Coca-Cola is perhaps one of the most famous examples I can share with you on the subject of consistency. Their iconic logo isn’t just found on their soda bottles and cans; you’ll find it everywhere! Even their television advertising uses the exact same branding.
Their branding is now so familiar, we don’t even need to read the lettering to know who/what it is! If you deviate from consistency, you’ll confuse and fragment your audience. When it comes to brand creation, a consistent approach will give you a solid foundation to help you grow.
Successful brands have successful logos
It’s obvious that successful brands have an image that centers around its logo. A logo is that unique thing that defines it as a brand and helps it to stand out from the crowd. Unfortunately, some businesses have terrible logos that do the exact opposite!
The point of having a logo is to give your audience a visual representation of your company. It’s something that must be memorable and eye-catching wherever it gets used.
Again, let’s look at Coca-Cola. Sure, it might look like some simple lettering. But, you seldom see any other brands using a similar style of logo. It also conveys to people that it is an established brand and one that people can trust.
Now, imagine if their logo used a bland font like Comic Sans MS? There is nothing unique about the logo in that case. Plus, as most of us have seen that font before, it shows the brand can’t be bothered to be a unique one.
Customer focus
You might think that all businesses put their clients first. The sad truth is that customer service can sometimes be a rare sight to see! Amazon is an example of a firm that is customer-centric. Just look at all the things they offer to make our lives easier!
For instance, it’s possible to get an evening or even same-day deliveries on products ordered. Returns are quick and easy to handle, and queries get dealt with in seconds.
One of the things successful brands have in common is how they treat their customers like royalty. They don’t consider them an afterthought!

Final thoughts
The examples above prove that creating a successful brand isn’t a hard thing to do. It’s important to remain focused and do things right the first time. Once you do that, you will soon enjoy the fruits of your labor!
