Bored of Social Media Marketing? Expand Your Horizons

social media

Look, I know social media is important. It’s perhaps the most important form of marketing in modern business. But it’s also highly saturated, and very competitive. So you would be wise not to keep all of your eggs in one basket. You might also be bored of having to use Facebook and Twitter all the time to promote your brand. So, why don’t you expand your horizons and try out new things?

There are plenty of other ways you can market your company effectively that don’t involve social media. I am going to share with you some of the best ways of achieving this with an array of different techniques.

social media

SEO

Never underestimate the appeal and effectiveness of search engine optimization. SEO, when used properly, can be one of the most effective forms of marketing out there. You should enlist the services of an SEO company to ensure you get the best out of it. But, you also need to understand how SEO works, and what it can do for the business. If you’re a little skeptical, you should know that over 90% of all online activity begins with search engines. If you and your business can harness the power of SEO, you’re going to significantly improve your marketing chances.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is not used enough by companies these days. But, you need to try to use it as much as possible. It can prove to be a highly effective form of marketing. It’s a great way of raising your profile in other areas of the country or the world without resorting to social media. Affiliate marketing is the practice of getting individuals to sell your products for you, and giving them a cut of the sale as payment. It’s one of those things that matters a lot more than you might realize. Around 15% of digital media revenue is generated from affiliate marketing. It’s a valuable tool to have in your arsenal so I suggest you use it if you think your online marketing sucks.

Mobile Apps

You’d be shocked by how many companies these days still don’t have mobile apps. People spend more time on their smartphones than anything else. So I would strongly recommend you capitalize on this with custom application development. Coming up with business mobile apps is a wonderful way of connecting with customers. It makes your company more remote and portable. And this opens doors to a whole new audience beyond social media who could be converted into paying customers. I think it’s important to get with the times, and a mobile app is a great way of doing that.

Business Cards

You know, you don’t always have to go digital when it comes to marketing your company. Sometimes the older methods can be just as effective. And, something I have found to be really useful over the years is the use of business cards. These can be carried around with you and handed out to an array of different people. Business cards provide you with something a bit different these days. They are a great way of getting noticed and grabbing the attention of others who appreciate the personal touch.

social media

So, it’s good to remember that not everything these days has to be about social media. You can expand your marketing repertoire and come up with other methods. Use some of my favorites to market your company effectively.
